Respect and Sportsmanship:
a. Treat coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and spectators with respect and courtesy at all times.
b. Refrain from using foul language, derogatory comments, or engaging in any form of bullying or harassment.
c. Accept both victory and defeat gracefully, showing good sportsmanship in all situations.
Safety:
a. Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by coaches and officials.
b. Refrain from engaging in any behavior that may endanger yourself or others.
c. Report any injuries or safety concerns to a coach or appropriate authority immediately.
Commitment and Dedication:
a. Attend practices and games regularly and arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your scheduled practice.
b. Communicate with your coach regarding any conflicts or challenges that may affect your participation including but are not limited to, school events, additional sport practices/games, or family functions.
Teamwork and Cooperation:
a. Collaborate with teammates, encouraging and supporting each other both on and off the court.
b. Follow the instructions and strategies provided by your coach, and work together towards team goals.
Fair Play and Rule Compliance:
a. Familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations of the game and abide by them.
b. Refrain from cheating, intentionally breaking rules, or engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct.
c. Accept and respect the decisions made by officials, even if you disagree with them.
Personal Conduct:
a. Maintain a positive attitude and display good behavior both on and off the court.
b. Be a positive role model for younger players and display integrity in all your actions.
c. Avoid the use of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal substances while representing your team or on social media.
Communication:
a. Communicate respectfully and constructively with coaches, teammates, officials, and spectators.
b. All conflicts regarding other teammates, coaches, or parents will be brought to the head coach of the team immediately and documented.
Equipment and Facilities:
a. Take care of the equipment and facilities provided to you, using them responsibly and returning them in good condition.
b. Respect the property of others, including opponents and the hosting venue.
c. Do not handle poles, nets, pads, or other volleyball equipment at any time.
d. Players should leave all gymnasiums cleaner than they found them. Failure to do so will result in a group team cleaning of the gymnasium.
