Inflatable Playground Procedures and Protocols for Parents

Thank you for choosing a birthday party that utilizes the inflatable playground! To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, please carefully read the below instructions:

Set-Up:
The inflatable playground will be set-up by PISE staff. Please do not attempt to move or adjust the playground. If any adjustments need to be made, please contact the PISE staff member that is supervising the event. Please note that not all adjustment requests will be accommodated.

Safety Precautions:
Please be aware of the number of children on the playground at one time. Limit the number of children to no more than 12.
Instruct the children that they will need to remove shoes and jewelry, and that all sharp items should remain outside the playground.
Along with the PISE staff member, an adult member of the hosts should also monitor the bouncy castle.
Children should stay on their feet as much as possible, and refrain from somersaults.
All food, drinks or any objects that could pose a choking hazard should remain outside the playground. .

Entry and Exit:
There is only one entry point into the inflatable playground. The adults monitoring the playground should establish the order for the entry and exit process for the children.
Encourage children to enter and exit the bouncy castle in an orderly manner, one at a time.
Remind the children to avoid jumping near the entrance/exit.

Weather Considerations:
The playground will be used in an indoor/outdoor hybrid space.
Please remove any wet clothes or jackets before entering the playground.
If the weather is impacting the playground or other items in the space, please contact the PISE staff member.
In cold weather, please dress in layers as the space may be cold.

Supervision and Adult Responsibilities:
A PISE staff member along with one responsible adult from the host party must supervise the playground at all times.
Adults are to ensure children are playing safely and adhering to the expectations laid out by the PISE staff member.
In the event of an injury or emergency, contact the PISE staff member immediately.

Deflation and Storage:
If the playground is to be deflated or the blower turned off to reduce noise for other activities, contact the PISE staff member. Only the PISE staff member can turn off the blower.
Before deflating the playground, ensure that all children have exited and that no items are on the device.
PISE staff members are responsible for the folding and storage of the playground.

If you have any further questions regarding the use of the playground, please contact play@pise.ca or the PISE staff member during the party.
