It was brought to the board of directors attention after the AGM that the Mandatory draw in every class should NOT apply to the Open Handicap. Please take a minute to give your input on the situation. Every paid member for 2022 has a vote, as long as they are of age 16 and older, each member MUST submit their own response, to get accurate numbers (ei: one form can't be from 2 family members/spouses).
The rider who brought this concern up didn't want to at the meeting as they felt that the last time they presented the idea it turned into a large disagreement at the 2020 AGM. We feel that everyone's vote and opinion matters to make the club grow for both our new and experienced riders, so we are taking the time NOW to gather the membership's opinions on the subject.
Motion made Saturday September 17th at the 2022 AGM:
1 mandatory draw with the option to draw the rest or pick the rest, in EVERY SANCTIONED CLASS **
New Proposal to be voted on:
1 mandatory draw with the option to draw the rest or pick the rest, in every sanctioned class, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE OPEN HANDICAP CLASS, where you may pick all, draw all, or pick and draw, with NO mandatory draw required.
